BREAKING OUT

A talented, but unemployed actor finds job at a prison, charge in the entertainment. He decides to put on a play with the imprisonments. He has to face the first disapprovement, the meaningless bureaucratic, and the cabal of the prison. He manage to succeed his aim, but he also manage to help the imprisoned to find their talents, to have self-confidence and to confront the fear and the feeling of insecurity. His presence is a kind of revolution, and before the final suceess there is also the victim. A young boy was killed at an attempt to release himself from the unwritten law of the prison. Flowers and ciggarets were the deaths presents above the dead body and below the red face of his mother.

The last and the most catalytic night of the movie was a rain night. I felt that the rain was this special element that cleaned the soul, brought the catharsis, and ressurrected happiness and creativity.

The attempt to stage a theatrical play represents something more than what we think as the last result. The play depicts the art, the culture, the freedom. Playing leads to the enthousiasm, to an intellectual intoxication that helps to empty our body from every negative feeling.

BIG FISH

A wonderfull movie, a long fairy-tale mixed with some realistic points. The hero 's father, a very outgoing and amicable person who have the tendency to embellish his life events with many imaginary and unrealistic details, is to die soon. So, his son tries the last attempt to learn his father 's real story , but this attempt seems to be vain, judging by the emotional gap between the two characters. Just some minutes before the end the real big fish of the story manage to return to the river and to become a legend. The plot is quick and full of changes and the dialogues are cleverly choosed. But, the most impressive was the film-direction (by Tim Burton). The photo below depicts the scene, when we are in love and we have the sense that time stops passing by. The actors, the animals, the music, the colours and the whole fantasy of the circus have stopped moving. The marvelest is that even the pop-corns keep soaring in the air...
An other point, that I want to keep in mind, is a phrase of the hero 's father. The exotic animals of the tropical forest in Australia, used to talk about everything, such as cinema, politics or economy, but never about religion. Because, when you discuss about religion, you can never know who 's gonna be touched. I think that this line applies to those people who find it easy to depreciate someone 's belief. Actually, we usually come across people who talk about god, just like they know everything, and I consider this subject to be touchy...

Yesterday, it was a strike day. I don 't mean that I went on strike. When students want to strike, we don 't warn nobody. We just teach-in school, and no politician care because students don 't vote. However, it was a strike day for teachers, and for the public servants who work on the means of mass transport. Then, they was on strike some workers of the public electricity service, so we had frequent power-cuts (actually, we had a blackout last evening, so I couldn 't run the pc to write this post and I am writing it now).

I think I am for strikers because workers use their constitutional right to claim their rights, and they risk to try for a better future. However, we have to point that workers that strike are usually public servant, so they don 't risk nothing. Nevertheless, I respect particularly the teachers who strike, because they show a rebellious temper and because they are different from those boring teachers who "come at school just not to lose their wage". Then, I admit that I am very happy when teachers go on strike bacause these days we have no school and we can relax, (and I can think of what I 'll write for my blog when I 'll come back home...). Finally, I don 't respect at all those teschers who choose to strike because they join political parties and they wait for the day they will gain a professional advancement. Propably, I 'm wrong, but everybody should have one more ideology than profit, and that applies in all cases

So goodmorning! I'm elisalife. Of course that 's not my real, it's just a nickname given by some friends, but I prefer to use it because it sounds better, it is unique and it also reminds me a joke. I have decided to start with this blog because I pretend to be a teen with many concern, and if I want to become a real journalist one day and change the world with my pen, I must first prove myself that I am able to write few phrases with my keyboard. Then I had to decide the language of this page... Actually, that 's not sound to be such a difficult problem. Writing to my native language would be easier for me, more familiar for friends and it would also save me from grammatical mistakes. I prefered to write in english (as you can see right now) because that 's the language spoken from the majority of the world population. I want to use this blog to have a window open on the whole world, and it would not be possible if I choosed not to write in a language which can be understood only by few millions people. And at last, I have spend many years of my life learning english and I think it 's time to use this knowledge for a purpose.
